Nyangatom tribe body scarring and beaded necklaces!

Donyiro was the original tribal name of the Nyangatom people. The Suri call them the Bume tribe. The Nyangatom are fierce in battle, but one of the most welcoming and friendly tribes to visit on an Omo Valley photography tour!

The Nyangatom wear multiple beaded necklaces and only remove them to wash them. The recent unexpected rains in the Omo Valley created milder temperatures so the village was still quite active
